Convenient Location and Knowledgeable Staff
I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Matsumoto. The location was incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and close to various sights in the city. The staff, especially Brian, provided excellent guidance on how to make the most out of my time in Matsumoto. They were knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for things to do in and around the city.
Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the small eating area and the stickiness in the kitchen, they didn't detract from my overall experience. The hostel offered great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers.

I recently stayed at a cozy hostel in Matsumoto and had a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and right by the river. The tatami room I stayed in had a charming traditional feel, making me feel like I was staying in a ryokan. One highlight was the nearby onsen, only a 10-minute walk away, where I indulged in a refreshing soak. The owners were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, adding a personal touch to my stay. Although there was some train noise, it was a small trade-off for being so conveniently located. I found this hostel to be perfect for solo travelers and small groups, offering a great atmosphere for meeting fellow travelers. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this riverside charm. I'll definitely recommend it to others!
